TALL TIMBERS

TALL TIMBERS

Winning a famil with work is always a great excuse for a getaway and refreshment from work; well life in general. A 4 night itinerary put together by our Wholesaler Infinity, in good Ol' Tassie. A place that I believe is very much not as promoted as it should be. I have been to Tasmania before, and it was a good trip: but I defiantly didn't see this side of it. We have been adventuring by Van (a people mover) around the North West, road tripping most days with a few activities in between. So far we have visited Cradle Mountain, Strahan, Smithon, Launceston and a little in between! After a wrong turn yesterday we ended up sticking out a 5 hour road trip to Smithton, which should have only taken 3 hrs. But I always like to think the best kind of road trips are spontaneous and theirs always room for a wrong turn or two. So as we finally arrived at our accomodation for the night, you could tell we were quite grumpy and exhausted. Tall timbers is exactly what we needed. Instantly the hosts at Tall timbers wow'd us and made us feel at home. Tall timbers was above and beyond my expectations by far, and I highly recommend it too all. A special mention to our host Dee who was one of the most down to earth, warm ladies. You can go to some sort of accomodation and love the facilities and rooms, but the customer service can ruin the whole experience. In this case; everything was spot on. The staff were brilliant and everything about Tall Timbers was amazing, such a big place with something for everyone. The only thing I'm dissapointed about is not staying at the Tall Timbers any longer to be honest. We sat down for a hosted dinner and again were instantly made to feel at home. I remember the general manager John actually saying just relax guys, have some fun and we'll talk business tomorrow. The menu was fantastic to read after a long drive, as it had something for everyone! I personally chose the twice cooked pork belly and was extremely satisfied. As we picked off everyone's played and had a couple of wines; the next thing we knew a couple of hours had passed and we may have been a little tipsy. The great thing about this hosted dinner was how down to earth John and Dee were; made my night!
Did I mention that Tall timbers also can organise tours for you!!!?
So easy, and very convenient...
Tall Timbers run various different tours to visit the best attractions around the area.
The appealing thing about doing a guided tour through Tall Timbers, is that your being show the best places by someone who knows the area and what they're taking about. The differences in being shown the best places and hidden spots by someone who is passionate and knows what they're talking about is compared to doing on your own is extremely beneficial.

I really wish I had more time to soak up this beautiful place and its surroundings.
Great rooms, fantastic facilities, delicious food and most importantly great customer service.
I WILL BE BACK.
Thank you Tall Timbers, for the fantastic hosted stay

Check them out on their website!

I did not get asked to post this and I am not getting paid to promote Tall Timbers.
