TALL TIMBERS

TALL TIMBERS

Winning a famil with work is always a great excuse for a getaway and refreshment from work; well life in general. A 4 night itinerary put together by our Wholesaler Infinity, in good Ol' Tassie. A place that I believe is very much not as promoted as it should be. I have been to Tasmania before, and it was a good trip: but I defiantly didn't see this side of it. We have been adventuring by Van (a people mover) around the North West, road tripping most days with a few activities in between. So far we have visited Cradle Mountain, Strahan, Smithon, Launceston and a little in between! After a wrong turn yesterday we ended up sticking out a 5 hour road trip to Smithton, which should have only taken 3 hrs. But I always like to think the best kind of road trips are spontaneous and theirs always room for a wrong turn or two. So as we finally arrived at our accomodation for the night, you could tell we were quite grumpy and exhausted. Tall timbers is exactly what we needed. Instantly the hosts at Tall timbers wow'd us and made us feel at home. Tall timbers was above and beyond my expectations by far, and I highly recommend it too all. A special mention to our host Dee who was one of the most down to earth, warm ladies. You can go to some sort of accomodation and love the facilities and rooms, but the customer service can ruin the whole experience. In this case; everything was spot on. The staff were brilliant and everything about Tall Timbers was amazing, such a big place with something for everyone. The only thing I'm dissapointed about is not staying at the Tall Timbers any longer to be honest. We sat down for a hosted dinner and again were instantly made to feel at home. I remember the general manager John actually saying just relax guys, have some fun and we'll talk business tomorrow. The menu was fantastic to read after a long drive, as it had something for everyone! I personally chose the twice cooked pork belly and was extremely satisfied. As we picked off everyone's played and had a couple of wines; the next thing we knew a couple of hours had passed and we may have been a little tipsy. The great thing about this hosted dinner was how down to earth John and Dee were; made my night!
Did I mention that Tall timbers also can organise tours for you!!!?
So easy, and very convenient...
Tall Timbers run various different tours to visit the best attractions around the area.
The appealing thing about doing a guided tour through Tall Timbers, is that your being show the best places by someone who knows the area and what they're taking about. The differences in being shown the best places and hidden spots by someone who is passionate and knows what they're talking about is compared to doing on your own is extremely beneficial.

I really wish I had more time to soak up this beautiful place and its surroundings.
Great rooms, fantastic facilities, delicious food and most importantly great customer service.
I WILL BE BACK.
Thank you Tall Timbers, for the fantastic hosted stay
x

Check them out on their website!

I did not get asked to post this and I am not getting paid to promote Tall Timbers.

Novembers TOP PICKS

N O V E M B E R
...........................

My top picks for this month

Its always fun having a window shop and adding things to the list of "I WANT", and I guess I have been doing that a lot this month. A few things have caught my eye, and I've decided to share with my viewers my top picks for this November.
Its extremely important for me to find lots of gift ideas right before Christmas.
I'm always wanting to find the best of the best for my surprise gifts for everyone at Christmas.
So I'm forever browsing online, or window shopping.
(I advice not to window shop when you can't spend money- not fun)

* This post I will include my top picks, but I have left all my favourite beauty products for their own post. Sorrrrrry beauty lovers.

1. Oxy Shred

Not an extremely new product, BUT forever growing with popularity. This product here, is the best fat burner on the market. You may have seen a lot of fitness bloggers and reviewers posting about this product, as it actually works.
A product launched by EHP labs in the USA, and can be purchased at majority of the supplement stores in Melbourne. I personally purchased this supp at my gym Derrimut in Caroline springs.
This product averages for $70-80, and totally worth it.
Oxy shred works as a fat burner AND a pre workout.
You take a scoop in the morning with 300 ml of water and another glass before a workout if you need some extra energy. I have been having this supp for the past week, and I have found that I have had so much more energy because of it.
I have also found it has fastened my metabolism up so much, and someone with an extremely slow metabolism thats a great selling point for me.
Oxy shred comes in many delicious flavours such as; Pineapple, Kiwi Strawberry (sells out fast), wild melon and guava.
If your someone who's looking at shredding some extra weight, would like to fasten their metabolism or even just needs some extra energy each day- I would highly recommend purchasing Oxy Shred. Feel free to search for reviews online- as I haven't seen one bad one yet.

2. Tropicana leaf quilt cover set

I fell in love with this quilt cover as soon as I saw it. Coming into summer, my room needed this beautiful cover just to brighten the mood- and that it does.
I have been love love loving Target as of lately, and thats where I found this beauty. In fact majority of my bed covers have been brought from Target, they really do have some nice ones. If your wanting a quality bed cover I would defiantly have a look at Targets range. You spend that little bit extra, but your really buying quality.
I have always said in a majority of my room related posts, that it is soooo very important to love your room. Your room is where you spend a lot of time, its your environment and I strongly believe that it has a big part in your moods, your sleep and your wellbeing. Thats why I strongly believe that you need to make your room as positive place, and you need to make it YOU.
Your room needs to feel fresh, clean and positive.
An thats exactly how this bed cover makes me feel. It may also make me feel like going on a tropical holiday but hey, thats always a good thing!
I can really tell that this bed covers quality- its thick and I can tell its not going to fade as I wash it.
This bed cover, like I said was purchased from Target.
Product price: $89 - Queen size.
* You can also purchase more bed cushions in this print.

3. Colouring book

Again, another amazing purchase from Target, man they have some awesome stuff at the moment. These books have been making an appearance in a lot of shops at the moment, and I think they're a great idea. Drawing is suppose to be amazing for the brain and extremely relaxing. Takes your mind of stress, while you colour amazing pictures.
This one in particular caught my eye, as the illustrations were beautiful.
This actually caught my eye as a perfect kris kringle gift for someone at work. Obviously we all love travel working at Flight Centre and this would be the best gift. Very affordable as well. Target has quite a big range with these colouring books, (I like to think of them as adult colouring books to sound less childish mwaha) they also had an amazing mandala colouring book.
This book was only $10!!! Perfect small Kris Kringle gift idea I believe :D

4. 3DS

Excuse my poor photo, but I'm bringing out the inner nerd in me.
Great gift for kids but ask Adults I believe, as I personally want one for Christmas hehe!!!
DS are a few years old now, but they've recently brought out a few new models. The 3DS is the very new one, but this photo is of the previous model the 3 ds XL, and what a great price. This again is from the amazing Target, and comes in a budge with THREE GAMES. I really do think this is a great price for everything that you get.
A lot of adults nowadays will play a lot of Facebook games or games on their phones- but I think a DS is a perfect little gadget to play in bed and kill some boredom. Their so many old school games you can purchase as well. Defiantly on my Christmas list this year.

Thats it for my told picks this month so far guys. I'm doing a lot of shopping tomorrow, so I'm sure I'll have lots more too come.

MY CHRISTMAS TREE!

6 more Mondays till Christmas!!!!!!!

Every year, everyone knows that Christmas approaches extremely fast- yet most people leave everything till last minute.
But not me, noooooo way.
It might be because Christmas is my favourite time of the year, yes I think that has something to do with it. But I always make sure that I everything very organised and eave nothing last minute. If you don't believe me, then how do you feel when I tell you I put my Christmas tree up on Sunday.......

Call me crazy because its only like mid November, but I don't want to only celebrate Christmas for a month.... A month that goes by way to fast for my liking. So I decide to start watching Christmas movies, present buy and put my Christmas tree up a month early.
I find it very fast that when I ask people if their excited for Christmas, they say nope I hate christmas. Or they give the excuse that all their kids have grown up so theirs no need.
I don't think I will ever lose my love for Christmas, even when I am retired and am wetting the bed.
Christmas isn't about just giving and receiving gifts, its about getting the family together and spending time with them. Its about putting in and doing things for others. Its about bringing joy to people and having a break from lives hecticness (I know not a word, but I'm making it one). You might decide that Christmas for you is going on a holiday with the family, spending it with everyone at home or you may be that grinch person that decides to skip Christmas all together.
But the most important thing is that around the holiday season being Christmas, be happy. Take a break and spend time with loved ones. Eat lots, drink egg nog, have a few sneaky beverages, buy gifts, open gifts, watch Christmas movies, listen to Michael Buble on repeat.. OK sorry Im naming everything I enjoy, but please do what makes you happy this Christmas.

**** DRUM ROLE PLEASE**************************

I would like everyone to see my amazing Christmas tree.
Now as a lot of you know, I moved into my first very own house. A beautiful double storey that I love decorating. So this has actually been my first Christmas in my own house which brings the joy of picking my own Christmas tree and decorations, yayyyyy.
Here it is :) *sorry for poor lighting.

This beauty is a 7ft (fake) tree, with a beachy theme! Everything in this photo was purchased, stated below:

- Tree: Target $129
- Baubels: Target $25
- Fairy lights: The Reject Shop $20

My favourite thing about this tree would defiantly be the baubles. I have decided to do something other then the traditional looking tree this year, and I have also ditched the tinsel. The colours are just amazing, and match the theme in my house.
After I buy all of my gifts for family and friends, I will wrap them in tiffany coloured wrapping paper, to keep the theme!
Sivers, baby blues and light greens only for wrapping paper! Maybe some possible blue bubble gum candy canes tooooo.
I will update you all in December of what my lounge room looks like with all of the decorations as well as presents under the tree hehe..

Keep following my Christmas related posts, as I am posting lots of gift guides.
Up next its what hot this month,
Have a lovely week everyone, & don't forget only 6 more monday till Santa visits.
xoxo
