Torquay Foreshore Caravan Park

Torquay Foreshore Caravan Park
Surfside Cabin- number 11, is where I stayed this weekend just past.
My partner and I thought it would be a lovely little getaway and a great opportunity to spend some quality time with my 3 year old niece.
My niece is the perfect behaved little girl, so it was so easy to spend a whole weekend with her.

The Torquay Caravan Park is so unique because you are literally backed up on the Torquay surf beach. I wasn't quite sure how far our surf side cabins were from the beach, but as I started walking it took me about 30 seconds to realise we were right in front of the beach.
Morning strolls, afternoon swims and night walks along the beach are what makes the holiday so perfect. Weather this weekend wasn't fantastic, it was quit chilly! But that didn't stop us from enjoying the beach, how couldn't we!?

Our actual surf cabin was perfect for 3! I would only recommend having the 6 people stay (maximum guests) if you were out and about often, as it would be quite squishy. But the cabin had a nice toilet, a small but great bathroom, a dining/lounge room, the cutest kitchen (with all utensils needed), a man bedroom with wardrobe and of course the kids room with two double bunk beds.

Heres a photo of our lovely cabin on the left, the right photo was our view towards the lake right next door. A perfect place for a morning job or bike ride.

Torquay is a lovely holiday destination, I personally think the best thing about torquay (besides the amazing beaches) is the takeaway places! Torquay has so many great places to eat, and a lot of hidden little cafes that aren't very known.
If you're not bothered by places to eat then shopping may be your thing! Surf brands like Rip Curl and Roxy, were all created in Torquay. So all of the biggest besets surf shops are in Torquay, as well as factory outlets you won't see any cheaper.

Torquay has just a lovely beach, chilled out vibe. Its honestly great for a weekend away. Whether you want to rent out your own house for a big family, or just stay somewhere a little cheaper but still relaxed at a caravan park.
For prices for the great Torquay foreshore Carvan park, have a look on their website!
Heres the beach that we are backed up on, known as the Surf beach in Torquay.
Taking my beautiful niece to watch the sunset.
